Oversee disciplinary engineering teams, coordinating cross-functional
tasks to ensure seamless project execution from concept through
commissioning.
Department Leadership: Manage optimal staffing, project planning, and
resource allocation for a major engineering department; oversee
department budgets and capital/operative forecasts.
Project Oversight: Act as Discipline Engineering and Interface Manager
for high-value projects including:
o Blue Hydrogen: OCI Nederland Texas ($1.6B) using ATR technology.
o Air Separation: Samsung Taylor ($375M) and TSMC Phoenix ($450M)
for UHP gas manufacturing.
o Green Hydrogen: PEM and SOEL electrolyze projects across Niagara
Falls and Ontario.
Technical Approval: Approve standard specifications, MR/PR requisitions,
and technical bid tabs while monitoring man-hour utilization and project
cost/quantity matrices.
Quality & Compliance: Develop work instructions and templates; conduct
performance appraisals and drive a culture of honesty and
professionalism.
Global Project Execution: Led detail engineering for international projects
including Shell Monaca (Ethylene Cracker), ExxonMobil Baytown, and
Borouge (UAE) 1.5MTA Ethylene cracker.
Process Improvement: Successfully implemented Lean Six Sigma and
improvement projects to optimize delivery and quality.
